From Seoul Gimpo International Airport Station to the famous downtown area Myeongdong by Airport Railroad-a’rex and subway
2019年の忘年会と称してソウルにやってきました。
今回は金浦国際空港に隣接のロッテモール金浦空港内にある
ロッテシティホテル金浦空港に宿泊しました。
買い物や帰国時に大変便利なホテルなのでお勧めします。

空港鉄道A’REXの各駅停車に乗って明洞への行き方
日本人観光客がソウルに滞在して1度は訪れるだろう、ソウル最大の観光地明洞への行き方です。
私たちは金浦国際空港に隣接のロッテモール金浦空港にあるロッテシティホテル金浦空港からですが、要は金浦空港から明洞までの道案内になります。
ルートを覚えてしまえばバスよりも使い勝手が良いかなと思います。
まずは金浦空港から地下道を通って地下鉄の金浦空港駅を目指しましょう。
金浦空港国際線はそんなに大きくないので大きく迷うことはないかと思います。
This is the way to go to Myeong-dong, the biggest tourist destination of Seoul, where Japanese tourists will stay once in Seoul.
We are from Lotte City Hotel Gimpo Airport, located at Lotte Mall Gimpo Airport next to Gimpo International Airport, but the key point is getting directions from Gimpo Airport to Myeongdong.
If you remember the route, I think that it is more convenient than a bus.
First, let’s go to Gimpo Airport Subway Station from Gimpo Airport through the underpass.
Gimpo International Airport is not so big, so I don’t think I’ll get lost.
更に地下に降りていくとA’REXのホームが現れます。
A’REXの一般列車に乗り込みましょう。
直通は仁川空港からになりますので今回は割愛します。
Go down further and the A’REX home will appear.
Let’s get on the general train of A’REX.
Direct access is from Incheon Airport, so I will omit it this time.
もちろんソウルステーション行きに乗り込みましょう。
案内表示を見れば間違えることはほぼないかと思います。
ちなみに一般列車は特急料金等はかからないので一般の地下鉄と同じチケットで乗ることができます。
もちろんT-MONEYカードも利用できますので使った方が良いかと思います。

If you look at the guidance sign, you will almost never make a mistake.
By the way, regular trains do not require express fares, so you can get on with the same ticket as a general subway.
Of course, you can use T-MONEY card, so I think you should use it.
A’REXの一般列車の車内です。
直通列車は座席も指定、時間も指定されますが一般列車は普通の車内です。
空港鉄道だけあってスーツケースを持った人も見かけますが一般の方も多く利用しているようです。
It is inside the train of A’REX.
For direct trains, the seats and the time are also specified, but ordinary trains are on ordinary trains.
There are only airport railroads and some people have suitcases, but the general public seems to use it too.
妊婦専用の座席が備えられています。
基本誰も座っていません。
There is a dedicated seat for pregnant women.
Basically nobody is sitting.
金浦空港駅から5駅で終点のソウル駅です。
こちらのかなり地下深くに到着しますのでエスカレーターでかなり上に上ります。
今回は4号線の明洞駅を目指しますので青い４Lineのマークを目指して進みましょう。
It is 5 stations from Gimpo Airport Station.
We will arrive deep underground here, so we will go up on the escalator.
This time, I’m aiming for Myeongdong Station on Line 4, so let’s go for the blue 4Line mark.
まだ地下深いですが乗り換えの表示がでてきました。
最終的に500～800メートルくらいは乗り換えで歩くような気がします。
Although it is still deep underground, the sign of transfer has appeared.
Ultimately, I feel like walking for about 500-800 meters.
ところどころエスカレーターがあったり長い直線がありますが、どんどん進みましょう。
There are escalators and long straight lines in some places, but let’s go steadily.
途中で改札みたいのも現れますがT-MONEYカードならばタッチしてどんどん進みます。
Something like a ticket gate appears on the way, but if it is a T-MONEY card, touch it and move on.
ここまでくるともう4号線のプラットホームは間近です。
ただこちらの階段にはエスカレーターはありません。
At this point, the platform for Route 4 is near.
However, there is no escalator on this stair.
4号線に乗り換えます。
2駅で明洞駅に到着します。
Change to Route 4.
You will arrive at Myeongdong Station in 2 stops.
階段を上るとそこは明洞です。
いつも混雑しています。
Go up the stairs and you will find Myeong-dong.
It is always crowded.
